Mixing THC with other drugs may result in greater impairment or present a greater risk to the lungs or cardiovascular system. For instance, a cigarette smoker may increase their risk of respiratory problems after prolonged use of cigarettes and marijuana at the same time. Since THC pills have a higher concentration of THC, they may also increase the chances of psychosis when mixed the other substances.
Some prescription medications do not mix well with THC. Examples may include Warfarin, Theophylline, or Clobazam, and Valproate. In addition, alcohol may increase THC levels immediately after taking a THC pill.
